Ham Lake Fire, May 2007
Ham Lake Fire
During the entire month of May, we experienced a huge forest fire in our county, which spread into Canada. For more details, you can visit our local ISP home page at www.boreal.org or our local newspaper at The Cook County News Herald. But I thought I would post a picture or two here. For all the damage and heartache this fire caused, the photos are dramatic and even, in their own way, beautiful. I think the fire brought out the best in people in many ways.
