“Don’t Dress for Dinner” is a farce of mixed-up characters, too many stories and fast thinking. This fast-paced comedy begins with Bernard inviting his mistress for the weekend as his wife is visiting her mother. He also invites his best buddy, Robert, as an alibi. Little did he know his wife was having an affair as well… with Robert so she decides to stay home. Add a creative and enterprising cook who assists with the deceit by playing multiple characters, the mistress who must know play the cook, the cook’s angry husband who shows up very confused, and you have the recipe for some great laughs.

The cast includes Kurt Anderson, Jane Burke, Erin Larsen, Joe Kunze, Beth Tidwell, and Tim Young. Directed by Elsa Cornell. This play is very funny and contains mature themes that may not be appropriate for all audiences.
