I cropped this image out of a family Christmas picture from 1963 or 1964. It’s me sitting on my Dad’s lap. I love my smile, my dirty socks and the way I’m touching my Dad’s hands.

Last night I demoed this wall down to the studs. Tomorrow the electrician and plumber are coming, and soon it will be my new kitchen!

Formerly known as my “Inner Sanctum,” this will soon be renovated to become Tina’s kitchen.

My dad took this picture on Drummond Island, “The Gem of the Huron.” I also have the photo that my mom was taking with the Instamatic at the same time (see two posts up). I love My mother’s expression, my brothers in the car (that’s me looking at the fawn). I still think that’s the prettiest car ever – a 1965 Plymouth Fury II 9 passenger wagon. I’ve been looking at this picture a lot lately since it’s the desktop image on my computer, so I thought I’d post it.
