This morning I started this new painting of koi.

As part of the Gunflint Trail’s WINTER TRACKS celebration, I have some art at Moosehorn Lodge on Gunflint Lake – the weekend of Thursday March 1 – Sunday March 4, and probably through the following weekend as well.

On Thursday, I visited the koi at the Como Conservatory, and on Sunday, I did this painting. Koi are always inspiring to me.
