I posted this painting earlier. Now it’s hanging at the Wild Onion in Grand Marais.

Tonight we went out to the end of Artist’s Point in Grand Marais for a wedding. The sun was setting over the Sawtooth Mountains to the west, the moon was rising to the east, the Hjordis was sailing by, and the waves were crashing against the rock. It was a beautiful evening.

Cricket is not well. Hopefully I’ll be able to get her in to see the vet tomorrow.

All summer long, people walk or bike out to the lighthouse. It’s fun, and looks festive. They take kids and dogs out there, and some people like to jump off into the lake.

Every morning when I head down the hill into town, the harbor looks different, and it’s always beautiful. I never get tired of it.

These boats were so pretty, it looked like they were racing back into the harbor.
