My dad took this picture on Drummond Island, “The Gem of the Huron.” I also have the photo that my mom was taking with the Instamatic at the same time (see two posts up). I love My mother’s expression, my brothers in the car (that’s me looking at the fawn). I still think that’s the prettiest car ever – a 1965 Plymouth Fury II 9 passenger wagon. I’ve been looking at this picture a lot lately since it’s the desktop image on my computer, so I thought I’d post it.

I took this picture of my front yard this morning.

I just got home from the memorial service for my friend Ken. Whenever someone dies, everyone says nice things about them, it’s just something we do. But in this case, I can’t imagine a sweeter, better person than Ken. He enriched my life while he was here, and he inspires me now that he’s gone. I’m so sad that he died, but grateful for having known him.

I was given this surplus projector by the school today. It turned my living room into what resembles an Apple Store. First we watched SPLASH movie theater style, then put on iTunes with Visualizer.
