At the Timouth Gallery in Grand Marais

Meme and Pepe gave us a guitar for Christmas a couple years ago. Madeline’s taken a real interest in it.

It’s such a relief to have the paintings down in Superior. I think they look great in that space. The Red Mug has a really cool bohemian feel. I understand the building used to be the Superior City Hall. Anyway, it has partially plastered stone walls, a really cool brick focal point which is the gateway to “the pit.” I was there for a couple hours today, and saw a diverse mix of people come in, surf the web, eat, drink coffee, talk, play with toys and just hang out. I like to think of my paintings being a backdrop for that slice of life.
