When I was in Junior High, I saw a film about Iceland, and learned that about 30% of homes there are heated with help from geothermal energy. Subterranian heat that comes from volcanos erupting beneath two-mile icecaps. I also saw a film about the construction of the St. Louis Arch. But that’s another story.
