Tim Young is exhibiting his paintings in the main dining room at Chez Jude in Grand Marais and will open a show at the Coho Cafe in Tofte July 30. He was also featured on WTIP radio recently. Here’s a video that Patrick Knight did of him painting one of his iconic pine trees. Click post below to see. (Note: The Coho Show comes DOWN July 30. It went up May 30). Young has also been invited to exhibit at the MacRostie Art Center in Grand Rapids in 2013.

Thanks for the feature, Joan! Grand Marais painter, Tim Young, is working on a series of paintings of fish in trees. Two of these wonderful paintings have been installed in a room at Cook County Higher Education, and three of them will be featured in the Itasca Community College’s magazine, “Spring Thaw” which comes out next week.
