I had originally named this for the Giant Anteater (Myrmecophaga tridactyla) that seemed to wander right into the middle of the painting, but then Madeline pointed out the birds.

I had posted this painting earlier, but now it’s framed, and I’ll take it to the Red Mug.

This painting was inspired by one of the two Thai masks I bought at the local budget shop.

My reception at the Red Mug Coffee House/Art Gallery will be Saturday, Sept. 8th from 5-7pm with wine, followed by a jazz group, ‘Jews and Gents’ from 8-10pm.
